The short version: we collect your name and email address when you join the waitlist, and nothing else about you personally. We don't ask about your symptoms, diagnosis, or medications on the sign-up form, and any general questions we do ask afterwards (like what you'd most want this to help with) are recorded anonymously, never linked back to you.
EndoByArtemis is an independent, pre-launch project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any health authority or medical regulator, including but not limited to the NHS, GMC, or RCOG in the UK, the FDA in the United States, the TGA in Australia, or Health Canada. For the purposes of data protection law, the person building this project is the data controller for the information described below.
When you join the waitlist by signing in with Google or Apple, we receive and store:
That's the complete list. We do not ask you to describe your symptoms, medical history, diagnosis, or medications anywhere on the sign-up form, and none of that is stored against your name or email.
After signing up, we ask a few optional questions (for example, what best describes you, or what you'd most want this to help with). These are answered anonymously: each answer only increments a shared count of how many people picked each option. Your individual answer is never written to your own record, and there is no way to trace an answer back to a specific person from what we store. You can also skip every one of these questions.
We use your name and email solely to let you know when early access is available, and for related updates about the project. The legal basis for this is your consent, given by the deliberate action of signing in through Google or Apple to join the list. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us (see below), and we'll delete your record.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (part of Firebase), hosted in an EU region. Google acts as our data processor for this storage. Signing in itself is handled directly by Google or Apple as identity providers - their own privacy policies govern that authentication step, separately from what we store afterwards.
We keep your waitlist entry for as long as the waitlist is active, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever happens first.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email contact@endobyartemis.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
This project is designed to support communication with your doctor. It does not provide medical diagnosis or individual clinical advice, and nothing on this site should be treated as such.
